Acting on behalf of property owners and occupiers, Mark Atkins Associates can provide the following services:
- Full Building Surveys on commercial and domestic properties
Detailed examination of the property and providing advice to clients on the overall condition and future maintenance liabilities.
Advice on budget costs where appropriate/required for remedial works.
- Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations
Preparing, serving and negotiating detailed schedules of dilapidations in accordance with tenant's repairing obligations.
Responding to and defending schedules of dilapidations served on tenants.
Preparing schedules of condition to be attached to leases to limit the tenant's repairing obligations.
Serving party wall notices, preparing schedules of condition and awards in accordance with the Party Wall Act 1996.
Responding to party wall notices served on adjoining owners and negotiating with the surveyors appointed by the building owners.
Preparing expert witness reports with regard to building construction disputes and presenting to the Courts.
Preparing schedules of works and specifications, obtaining tenders and managing the project through to completion.
